Savory Stuffing Mix
Summer savory is the primary flavor in all four stuffing mixes. It is a traditional ingredient in stuffing mixes in Eastern Canada. Newfoundlanders in particular are fond of savory and use it in a great many foods. They use it to replace salt and sprinkle it on anything in the frying pan.
Farmer John's savory stuffing mix will bring back memories of childhood or visits to grandma, as it is the traditional flavour for stuffing. In particular mixing the recipes for bread and potatoes will create an authentic Maritime stuffing. It can be baked in the oven alone, without a turkey as the chicken stock ingredient provides the poultry flavouring. This can be done fairly quickly and adds great flavour to your meal.
